Copyediting: A thorough editing process that emphasizes content improvement, the mechanics of style, consistency, and fact-checking. A basic edit of punctuation, typos, formatting, spelling, and grammar is also included. (A subsequent proofreading is recommended.)
Proofreading: Typically occurs after copyediting. Proofreading is a close line-by-line reading of a text to make any final corrections prior to publication.
Copyediting/Proofreading Package: A combination rate is available for these two services. One of our knowledgeable editors will copyedit your document and the finished product will be returned for author/publisher clarifications if required. Once completed, a second editor will proofread the document to correct any remaining errors.
